Enel Generación Perú S.A.A.

Enel Generación Perú S.A.A., as a part of the Enel group, is a company dedicated to the generation and sale of electrical energy and electrical power. It distributes these two services to free clients (private companies requiring large amounts of electricity) and regulated clients (mostly, electrical distributors). The sales of electrical energy represent 75.0% of its total revenues, while the sales of electric power represent 24.5%, approximately (as of the closing of 2018). The company has 8 hydroelectric power plants, which as of 2019 had an effective power of 788.0 MW; and, three thermal power plants, which as of 2019 had an effective power of 888.6 MW. Out of the hydroelectric power plants, 6 belong 100% to Enel Generación Perú S.A.A., while the other two (with a 195.4 MW power) belong to Chinango S.A.C. (80% corresponds to Enel Generación Perú S.A.A. and 20% to Perené S.A.).
